Travel is a chance to communicate with the world. Travelers want to shar feelings, impressions during precious moments.
MomentHere is an app for travelers to share their feelings digitally and physically. Digitally, it provides a virtual wall for travelers to post what they want at the tourist attraction; Physically it allows them to send postcards in either digital or physical way.
This startup project aims at business development process and won the championship of Journée Entrepreneuriat Etudiantin Paris in 2014.
My role in this project was leading the production app development (Android platform & server setup) and user research.
User research
We considered several scenarios during the journey of young travelers: eating, photography, using social media, sending postcards.
The key requirement is that travelers need to find a way to record their feelings and experiences. We finally set leaving notes and sending postcards as our service focus.
Requirement analysis
The user research acted as a tool to check the features requirement from users’ perspective: this process includes survey, interview analysis, and market analysis.

Business model
Based on user research, we structured the market strategy, analyzed the resources (financial, application, intellectual property etc). We created a strategy to launch the application in different channels: including
- Google Play Store
- Social Networks: ads
- Tourist attraction and agency: booklet and promotion

Design & development
The development process involved several advanced Android functions, server build-up, data communication between server and clients. The application was fully implemented in the Android version which you could download from play store
